Hey there, pumpkin pal!


Fall is just around the corner, and we're diving into its deliciousness with some cozy Fall drinks that we themed to go with our new fall mugs. So turn on your favorite Fall movie, find your comfiest blanket, and head to the kitchen to start whipping up some fall magic. 


COOKIE MONSTER HOT CHOCOLATE

Take your typical hot chocolate to the next level with this cookie-themed hot chocolate. It truly is like a Halloween treat with a yummy array of marshmallows, cocoa, and cookies. Pair it with our Cutie Halloween Drink Stirrers to make your drink even more festive!

 

Hot Chocolate Mixture Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup hot water
  • 4 cups milk, dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Garnish Ingredients:

  • 1 can of whipped cream 
  • 1 bag of marshmallows
  • 4 of your favorite cookies (we use chocolate chip cookies)

 

Serving size - 4 cups

 

Directions:

  1. Combine cocoa powder, sugar, and salt into a saucepan. Add water and whisk the mixture continuously until it reaches a simmer. Continue to whisk on a simmer for 2 minutes or until mixture is smooth.
  2. Add milk on a medium to medium low heat and whisk, do not let the milk boil. Continue until the mixture is warm. 
  3. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract, and whisk it until it is well combined. 
  4. Pour into 4 Freshly Boo’d mugs, add whipped cream to each cup, sprinkle your desired amount of marshmallows, and crush your favorite cookie to sprinkle on top of each drink. 


SPICED PUMPKIN MILK

Not only is this drink full of vitamins and antioxidants, but it is also delicious! Creamy, cozy, and spiced just right, this drink may just become your season’s new favorite drink. Spice Ingredients:

  • ¾ tsp ground cinnamon*
  • ¾ tsp ground ginger*
  • ¾ tsp ground nutmeg* 
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves*

*Or you can use 2 tsp pumpkin spice instead of spice mixture

 

Pumpkin Milk Ingredients:

  • 4 cups milk, dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 cups pumpkin puree 
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Optional Garnish Ingredients:

  • 1 can of whipped cream

 

Serving size - 4 cups


Directions:

  1. Combine cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove, and milk into a saucepan on medium heat and whisk the ingredients together until smooth. Takes approximately 2 minutes.
  2. Add pumpkin puree and maple syrup and continue to whisk until all the ingredients are well combined and mixture is at desired temperature. 
  3. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract, and whisk it until it is well combined. 
  4. Pour into 4 Grumpy Pumpkin mugsOptionally you can top each mug with whipped cream.


APPLE PIE LATTE

It's like your favorite Fall pie and your daily caffeine joined forces. You might go to sip on that appley-cinnamony goodness and end up chugging the entire drink. We recommend having our I Put A Spell On You Swedish Dishcloth close by in case you have any spills while you enjoy this harvest style latte. 

 

Homemade Apple Pie Syrup Ingredients*:

  • 4 cups apple juice
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp ground allspice
  • ¼  tsp ground ginger
  • ¼  tsp ground cardamom

*Instead of making an apple pie syrup, you can buy one


Latte Ingredients:

  • 4 cups coffee
  • 1 cup apple pie syrup* (if using a store bought apple pie syrup, not homemade, use their suggested serving size)
  • 1 cup milk, dairy or non-dairy

Optional Garnish Ingredients:

  • 1 can of whipped cream

 

Serving size - 4 cups

 

Directions:

  1. Combine apple juice, water, light brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, all spice, ginger, and cardamom into a saucepan on medium heat.  Whisk the mixture occasionally until it reaches a simmer. Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, continuing to stir occasionally. Mixture should reduce in amount and thicken slightly. It will thicken the more it cools. Set this mixture aside.
  2. In another saucepan, add coffee, apple pie syrup mixture, and milk on medium heat. Whisk the mixture and heat until it reaches your desired temperature.
  3. Pour into 4 There Is A Season mugs. Optionally you can top each mug with whipped cream.
