How the heck is it September already?! This time of year always feels a little bittersweet. Summer makes me feel spontaneous and up for anything, and I’m sad to see it go. But I am always excited for a change in season, and September just seems to put everyone back in a routine, and you know, I think getting back into a routine FEELS GOOD.

Getting back into the swing of things around Doe A Deer means I have started back up with Tuesday CEO days- a day I dedicate to office and computer work, designing for 2023 collections (can you believe it?!).

The gals and I are gearing up for the Holiday rush, double checking inventory counts, and planning out all of our in-store and online events for the rest of the year! And of course we are still having so much fun getting your Fall orders ready to head out the door! (Our Full Pattern Ghost Towel is FLYING off the shelves!)

As the craziness of Summer winds down and we all settle into our routines for Fall, we have a suuuuper yummy end of summer recipe to share with you! Our Creamy Zucchini, Tomato & Ricotta Pasta from our Good Food Good Mood Cookbook, is the perfect recipe for using up the rest of your garden goodies! And what a great, simple addition to your “regulars” ;) .

Cozy, creamy, comforting. Enjoy!
